Space Force launch and operate satellites to provide; space-based communications, navigation, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and co-orbital counter space mission capabilities for the military operations. Hence, the space force is responsible for jamming satellite communications and global positioning systems upon demand. Also, space force projects strategic deterrence with direct-ascent capabilities. Ultimately, space force is an effective deterrent for any adversary when coupled with electronic and cyber warfare capabilities.
Space force ensures full availability of friendly space assets while limiting, undermining, and destroying an adversary’s space infrastructure. Specifically, armed forces rely on satellites for 100 per cent of navigation, 80–90 per cent of communication, and 70–90 per cent of its intelligence needs. So friendly space assets must be protected in all cost. Eventually, reliance on space creates vulnerabilities and opportunities. Ultimately, achieving space dominance and cyber superiority can generate the conditions for victory against any space denied adversary. Military strategists conclude that future wars will be fought and won in outer space and cyberspace.
At Belpico, we are developing a robotic arm that can grab objects close-proximity to the satellite. Our robotic arm will enable; hard rebooting, refuelling, maintenance, and part replacement of compatible satellites in-orbit. Thus, all-weather earth remote sensing systems, commercial communication satellites, and a global satellite navigation systems can be maintained more effectively and cheaply. Also, the robot arm can be used to eliminate space debris or space mines.
